The Detroit Lions have done the unthinkable: it's united two icons with opposing political beliefs, Eminem and Kid Rock, around a common cause.
Lions bring Eminem and Kid Rock together
The Lions' recent success, a dominant 52-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans, has brought together these two Detroit natives in shared enthusiasm for their hometown team.
One has been a vocal supporter at the Republican National Convention, while the other has campaigned for Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama.
Yet on Sunday, these differing loyalties took a backseat as both expressed their shared Lions pride on social media.
"Here's one thing @KidRock and I do agree on... GO @Lions!!!! Appreciate you, Bob," Eminem posted on X..
Kid Rock responded with equal enthusiasm: "Thanks @Eminem - Who would of thought it would be 2 white rappers from Detroit / Michigan to show our divided Country what class is and how it should be done! Appreciate ya too Marshall!"
Lions continue impressive 2024 campaign
The Lions are now riding high, with a 6-1 record, securing a top spot in the NFC North.
Head coach Dan Campbell, known for his no-nonsense approach, praised the team's performance and preparation, calling it the mark of champions.
"When you come out, you don't care what time of day it is, what the records are, what the surface is, you come out and handle your business, and we did that," he told The Detroit News.

Additionally, the Lions have accumulated 172 points over the past four games, marking the highest total in a four-game span in the team's history.
