Could there be discord in the Colorado Buffaloes camp?

Travis Hunter, the talented dual-threat player for the Colorado Buffaloes, is known for his emotional openness, often expressing his feelings candidly, even in the presence of head coach Deion Sanders.

This transparency reflects a unique relationship between the two, but it appears that Hunter is growing increasingly frustrated with the attention he feels he deserves from Coach Prime.

Fans may remember that in the past, Hunter's strong loyalty to Sanders has made him a target of criticism within the college football community.

Deion Sanders is deeply committed to his dual roles as a head coach and father to his five children. This commitment is evident in his social media presence, where he frequently highlights his sons-Deion Jr., Shilo, and Shedeur-who are all actively involved in the Buffaloes program.

Following the Buffs' recent 34-23 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats, Coach Prime posted a heartfelt tribute celebrating father-son moments, accompanied by a motivational message about faith and resilience.

However, the post drew attention for more than its celebratory tone. Hunter expressed his displeasure by commenting with an angry emoji, indicating he felt overlooked despite his impressive performance.

While Shedeur shone in the game, completing his first 15 passes and scoring a rushing touchdown, Hunter had a standout game as well, racking up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the first half.

It's no surprise he felt slighted, especially given the trend of his contributions being overshadowed.

Hunter has been left frustrated by Coach Prime before

Previously, Hunter voiced his frustrations when Coach Prime's father-son bonding moments seemed to eclipse his achievements. Inspired by LeBron James and his son Bronny making history as the first father-son duo to play in the NBA, Sanders expressed a desire to join Shedeur in competition.

"I'm COMING Back to play with my sons too! This is HISTORICAL," Sanders posted on Twitter.

In response, Hunter added a rather emotional comment.

"Ok now why I'm not in this picture," he replied.

This prompted a reassuring reply from Coach Prime: "I can fix that."

This exchange offered Hunter some comfort but also raised deeper concerns about their dynamic.

Unfortunately, Hunter's emotional responses have made him a target for scrutiny among college football fans, with some questioning why he seeks validation from Sanders rather than his own father.

Critics should recognize that Hunter's openness is a reflection of the environment that Sanders has created, allowing players to express their feelings without reservation.

As Hunter continues to navigate this complicated relationship with Coach Prime and his own expectations, it will be intriguing to see how their bond evolves throughout the season.
