Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have encountered a tumultuous year, marked by professional setbacks and strained family dynamics, with King Charles III showing no signs of easing their difficulties.

Markle faced a significant blow when her business venture, American Riviera Orchard, was effectively shut down before it even launched.

In contrast, Prince Harry has been on a quest for new experiences as he seeks to redefine himself as a man and philanthropist.

Despite his previous revelations about King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, he continues to feel a deep longing for familial connection. In hopes of rekindling that bond, Harry has reached out to his father multiple times, yearning for a positive response.

Unfortunately, King Charles has not reciprocated, declining to engage or meet with Harry. In light of this, the Duke of Sussex recently purchased a multi-million-dollar mansion in Portugal, a move that allows him to be closer to his ailing father while establishing a presence in Europe.

This news surfaced while King Charles and Queen Camilla were on a royal tour in Australia, stirring speculation about the family's dynamics.

Could there be a Royal reunion?

When asked about Harry's decision to acquire property in Portugal, royal staff conveyed a stark message: King Charles is preoccupied with his royal duties and expects Harry to address his own issues independently. Royal expert Hugo Vickers had a pointed response.

"Harry just needs to sort himself out," Vickers declared, illustrating the King's apparent disinterest in intervening in his son's life.

Vickers further elaborated that King Charles would only consider engaging with Harry if he expressed a desire to return to the monarchy he distanced himself from.

"The King is not going to waste much time concerning himself with his issues," he stated, while also noting that the door remains open for Harry should he seek to reconcile with the royal family.

Moreover, the absence of any discussion regarding Meghan Markle's potential return to the Royal Family complicates their already intricate situation. As the couple continues to navigate these challenges, it is evident that they will need to formulate a new plan to address their familial ties and their position within the royal framework.
